First sealed cathode

Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), has announced that its Line 6 Smelter achieved a significant milestone - the First Cathode Sealing Operation - on Wednesday January 31, 2018.   The first cathode is an integral part of the pot lining activities for the new Line 6 pots based on the Dubal DX Ultra Technology that is being employed at the Line 6 Smelter.   Commenting on this achievement, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray, said: “We are very much pleased with the overall progress we have made on Line 6 Smelter.
